The D-Link DGS-F1006P-E 6-Port 250m Gigabit PoE Switch is a compact and reliable networking solution designed for IP surveillance systems, wireless access points, IP phones, and other Power over Ethernet devices. QoS mode can prioritize video traffic for smoother surveillance transmission, while the PoE mode can automatically detect connected PoE devices and power-cycle ports when necessary.

For reliable network operation, the DGS-F1006P-E supports IEEE 802.3x Flow Control and uses store-and-forward switching. It also supports Auto MDI/MDIX, allowing connected Ethernet devices to be detected automatically without requiring crossover cables.

The switch is designed with 6KV surge/lightning protection, helping protect the device against electrical surges and making it suitable for demanding surveillance and outdoor-adjacent network installations.
